HOW CAN WE RESTORE THE PLANET?

World Environment Day on June 5 has been an annual observance day since 1972. It aims to raise global awareness of our fragile planet and remind us about the importance of the natural world. Reimagine, Recreate, and Restore are the recommended actions of the United Nations Environmental Program.

WORLD TRAVELERS - SPIRIT OF PLACE

PHOTOGRAPHS BY JON H. DAVIS

LIFE-FRAMER PHOTO COMPETITION

The works in this collection, from travels near and far, tell unspoken stories, illuminating a path toward the spirit of place embodying cultural traditions, pensive moments, and connection with the environment.

Selections from the collection:

PHOTOGRAPHIC COLLECTION

MOROCCO - TELOUET RUINS

The crumbling exterior of this former castle amidst a sun-baked Moroccan landscape belies the well-preserved, artful elements of traditional architectural design within from intricately carved plaster to ceramic tiles. It echoes the saying: “Don’t judge a book by its cover.”

ZANZIBAR - SOLO SAILOR

As dusk approaches off the coast of Zanzibar, the fading light reflects off the handmade sail of a small craft, as it glides along on a gentle breeze.
